{"id":20728,"date":"2026-06-01T09:17:53","date_gmt":"2026-06-01T09:17:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trueangle.org\/?p=20728"},"modified":"2026-06-01T09:17:53","modified_gmt":"2026-06-01T09:17:53","slug":"gospel-mark-121-12","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.trueangle.org\/index.php\/2026\/06\/01\/gospel-mark-121-12\/","title":{"rendered":"GOSPEL Mark 12:1-12"},"content":{"rendered":"<pre>\r\nJesus began to speak to the chief priests, the scribes,\r\nand the elders in parables.\r\n\"A man planted a vineyard, put a hedge around it,\r\ndug a wine press, and built a tower.\r\nThen he leased it to tenant farmers and left on a journey.\r\nAt the proper time he sent a servant to the tenants\r\nto obtain from them some of the produce of the vineyard.\r\nBut they seized him, beat him,\r\nand sent him away empty-handed.\r\nAgain he sent them another servant.\r\nAnd that one they beat over the head and treated shamefully.\r\nHe sent yet another whom they killed.\r\nSo, too, many others; some they beat, others they killed.\r\nHe had one other to send, a beloved son.\r\nHe sent him to them last of all, thinking, 'They will respect my son.'\r\nBut those tenants said to one another, 'This is the heir.\r\nCome, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.'\r\nSo they seized him and killed him,\r\nand threw him out of the vineyard.\r\nWhat then will the owner of the vineyard do?\r\nHe will come, put the tenants to death,\r\nand give the vineyard to others.\r\nHave you not read this Scripture passage:\r\n\r\nThe stone that the builders rejected\r\nhas become the cornerstone;\r\nby the Lord has this been done,\r\nand it is wonderful in our eyes?\"\r\n\r\nThey were seeking to arrest him, but they feared the crowd,\r\nfor they realized that he had addressed the parable to them.\r\nSo they left him and went away.\r\n<\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jesus began to speak to the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders in parables. &#8220;A man planted a vineyard, put a hedge around it, dug a wine press, and built a tower.
