{"id":20760,"date":"2026-06-14T11:35:56","date_gmt":"2026-06-14T11:35:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trueangle.org\/?p=20760"},"modified":"2026-06-14T11:35:56","modified_gmt":"2026-06-14T11:35:56","slug":"gospel-matthew-936-108","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.trueangle.org\/index.php\/2026\/06\/14\/gospel-matthew-936-108\/","title":{"rendered":"GOSPEL Matthew 9:36\u201410:8"},"content":{"rendered":"<pre>\r\nAt the sight of the crowds, Jesus\u2019 heart was moved with pity for them \r\nbecause they were troubled and abandoned,\r\nlike sheep without a shepherd.\r\nThen he said to his disciples,\r\n\u201cThe harvest is abundant but the laborers are few;\r\nso ask the master of the harvest\r\nto send out laborers for his harvest.\u201d\r\n\r\nThen he summoned his twelve disciples\r\nand gave them authority over unclean spirits\r\nto drive them out and to cure every disease and every illness.\r\nThe names of the twelve apostles are these:\r\nfirst, Simon called Peter, and his brother Andrew;\r\nJames, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John;\r\nPhilip and Bartholomew, Thomas and Matthew the tax collector;\r\nJames, the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddeus;\r\nSimon from Cana, and Judas Iscariot who betrayed him.\r\n\r\nJesus sent out these twelve after instructing them thus,\r\n\u201cDo not go into pagan territory or enter a Samaritan town.\r\nGo rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.\r\nAs you go, make this proclamation: \u2018The kingdom of heaven is at hand.\u2019\r\nCure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, drive out demons.\r\nWithout cost you have received; without cost you are to give.\u201d\r\n<\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the sight of the crowds, Jesus\u2019 heart was moved with pity for them because they were troubled and abandoned, like sheep without a shepherd.
