{"id":20776,"date":"2026-06-24T11:41:27","date_gmt":"2026-06-24T11:41:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trueangle.org\/?p=20776"},"modified":"2026-06-24T11:41:27","modified_gmt":"2026-06-24T11:41:27","slug":"gospel-luke-157-66-80","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.trueangle.org\/index.php\/2026\/06\/24\/gospel-luke-157-66-80\/","title":{"rendered":"GOSPEL   Luke 1:57-66, 80"},"content":{"rendered":"<pre>\r\nWhen the time arrived for Elizabeth to have her child\r\nshe gave birth to a son.\r\nHer neighbors and relatives heard\r\nthat the Lord had shown his great mercy toward her,\r\nand they rejoiced with her.\r\nWhen they came on the eighth day to circumcise the child,\r\nthey were going to call him Zechariah after his father,\r\nbut his mother said in reply,\r\n\u201cNo. He will be called John.\u201d\r\nBut they answered her,\r\n\u201cThere is no one among your relatives who has this name.\u201d\r\nSo they made signs, asking his father what he wished him to be called.\r\nHe asked for a tablet and wrote, \u201cJohn is his name,\u201d\r\nand all were amazed.\r\nImmediately his mouth was opened, his tongue freed,\r\nand he spoke blessing God.\r\nThen fear came upon all their neighbors,\r\nand all these matters were discussed\r\nthroughout the hill country of Judea.\r\nAll who heard these things took them to heart, saying,\r\n\u201cWhat, then, will this child be?\u201d\r\nFor surely the hand of the Lord was with him.\r\nThe child grew and became strong in spirit,\r\nand he was in the desert until the day\r\nof his manifestation to Israel.\r\n\r\n<\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When the time arrived for Elizabeth to have her child she gave birth to a son.
