{"id":20826,"date":"2026-07-23T16:27:37","date_gmt":"2026-07-23T16:27:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trueangle.org\/?p=20826"},"modified":"2026-07-23T16:27:37","modified_gmt":"2026-07-23T16:27:37","slug":"gospel-matthew-1310-17","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.trueangle.org\/index.php\/2026\/07\/23\/gospel-matthew-1310-17\/","title":{"rendered":"GOSPEL Matthew 13:10-17"},"content":{"rendered":"<pre>\r\nThe disciples approached Jesus and said,\r\n\u201cWhy do you speak to the crowd in parables?\u201d\r\nHe said to them in reply,\r\n\u201cBecause knowledge of the mysteries of the Kingdom of heaven\r\nhas been granted to you, but to them it has not been granted.\r\nTo anyone who has, more will be given and he will grow rich;\r\nfrom anyone who has not, even what he has will be taken away.\r\nThis is why I speak to them in parables, because\r\nthey look but do not see and hear but do not listen or understand.\r\nIsaiah\u2019s prophecy is fulfilled in them, which says:\r\n\r\nYou shall indeed hear but not understand,\r\nyou shall indeed look but never see.\r\nGross is the heart of this people,\r\nthey will hardly hear with their ears,\r\nthey have closed their eyes,\r\nlest they see with their eyes\r\nand hear with their ears\r\nand understand with their hearts and be converted\r\nand I heal them.\r\n\r\n\u201cBut blessed are your eyes, because they see,\r\nand your ears, because they hear.\r\nAmen, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people\r\nlonged to see what you see but did not see it,\r\nand to hear what you hear but did not hear it.\u201d\r\n<\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The disciples approached Jesus and said, \u201cWhy do you speak to the crowd in parables?\u201d He said to them in reply, \u201cBecause knowledge of the mysteries of the Kingdom of heaven has been granted to you, but to them it has not been granted.
